Our Services
We offer practical, person-centred support in Aberdeen: food bank & emergency parcels, weekly pop-in sessions, CV & job clinic, language classes, befriending, and settlement support.
Employability Skills Training & CV Clinic
Our programs offer training in employability skills, including CV writing and job search assistance, helping community members, especially the unemployed and young NEET, gain employment and reduce financial deprivation.
Emergency Aid
We provide prompt support during disasters, like the Covid-19 pandemic, assisting those at imminent risk of poverty due to loss of home, possessions, or livelihood.
Language Classes
English language classes are available to support refugees and asylum seekers in their integration into local communities.
Student Support Services
Tailored assistance for students, including tutoring and mentorship, to enhance their educational journey.
Social Networking & Befriending Services
Through coffee mornings, meet-up groups, and befriending services, we create opportunities for social connection, alleviating feelings of loneliness and fostering mental well-being.
Mental Health Awareness and Support
We run workshops and information sessions on mental health, increasing awareness and providing support mechanisms.
Weekly Pop-In Session
Our weekly Pop-In Session runs every Tuesday in a relaxed, friendly space where neighbours of all ages can drop by for a cuppa, a chat, and practical help. Whether you're new to Aberdeen, feeling alone, or having a tough week, you'll be welcomed by name. Volunteers are on hand to listen, introduce you to others, and connect you with food support, nappies, digital inclusion, wellbeing activities, and our CV clinic. Around shared tables, conversations grow into friendships; games and gentle activities spark smiles; small moments of kindness lift the whole room. Parents can relax while kids play, and everyone can catch their breath without pressure or judgement.
Weekly Food Bank and Emergency Food Parcel Delivery
After each pop-in session, our weekly Food Bank runs on the same site, offering fresh and store-cupboard essentials, nappies and toiletries, no judgement, just dignity and choice. For anyone facing a crisis, we also provide Emergency Food Parcel Delivery on Sundays. If illness, caring responsibilities or travel costs make it hard to reach us, our volunteer drivers bring a discreet parcel to your door, along with a friendly check-in and signposting for extra help. Both services tackle poverty and loneliness, create social connection, and boost mental wellbeing.
Food Bank
Our food bank initiative ensures that no one in our community faces hunger, providing nutritious food to those in need.
Settlement Support
Assisting newcomers, including migrants and asylum seekers, with settling into the community, from housing assistance to navigating local systems.
